One of the items we have a tendency to like concerning the Netbook is it’s size; the compact size makes it ideal for seizing the road, my wife will even slip it into her bag (oversized purse) if required. The screen and keyboard are smallish, however quite usable.
After some 1st generation EEE PCs that soon showed how low cost they very are, and an Acer a150 (8.9″ model) that died once four months, I found myself netbook searching all over again. i used to be NOT about to get another acer. however once watching all of them, making an attempt them out whenever attainable, the acers were the sole ones i used to be compatible with. That 8.9″ acer was a good very little laptop till it did not activate someday. I might have sent it back for repair, however got lazy and let the warranty run out. I bought this specific model as a result of it had XP. i am certain Windows seven is beautiful, however i actually like XP.
I bought this as a present for my father who is an elder man. He incorporates a desktop upstairs however typically growing there’s sort of a chore for him. With the Acer Aspire One he keeps it in his front room and pulls it out within the evening on the sofa or may load it up whereas drinking his morning low within the kitchen. it’s an ideal size for a conveyable laptop. He loves that’s has XP, he’s used to using the OS. The keys are somewhat tough for him however he uses a USB mouse for a lot of accuracy than fiddling with the mouse pad. look wise it’s terribly lovely. I even have used it a couple of times when he’s out of city and it masses quickly and that i am ready to surf while not a lot of wait in the slightest degree. It additionally shuts down quickly. this is often a good starter netbook or a good laptop to possess as an additional. Once you shut your main laptop down for the night and wish to login in to simply check one thing this is often the gadget to try and do therefore. I even have owned an Acer within the past as has my father that the name is well trusted at intervals the family too. the proper netbook in my opinion.
Editor’s Note:
It is not recommended, but its really up to you. If you need to leave it on, then leave it on it won’t die out or anything. It’s a very good idea to turn it off as often as possible, although. It would be okay to do it once in a while but no it would not be a good idea. The thin width of it does not give it area to cool down. Bassically you should turn off your netbook as long as the time you used it. But 24/7? thats get a desktop computer.heat is the enemy of all computing devices. desktop PCs and servers have special cooling systems that manage airflow to help cool the computer. netbooks typically do not even have a fan and rely on heat radiating from the body of the netbook. they are not designed to run 24/7 and you may find that your netbook dies prematurely due to excessive heat damaging the components. to reduce this risk, try to do what you can to help keep the device cool. do not stick it in a drawer or enclosed area, keep it where air can flow around it. consider setting it on a stand that would allow air to flow beneath it. the cooler you keep it, the longer it will last.
